This is an appeal to support OSA 2007 convention and its various activities.
What are the Programs?
Various cultural events are planned for OSA 2007 convention to provide a memorable experience for the convention attendees. Different cultural segments are:
Our featured artists for OSA 2007 convention are being pursued aggressively
We invite sponsorship to bear the cost of the travel expense for each of these dancers as well as musicians.
We have rented a state of the art facility for the cultural programs so that OSA attendees can enjoy it to the fullest.
Our goal this year is to produce an excellent cultural program. Quality comes at a cost. In truth we get what we pay for. We hope that with everybody’s support we can achieve this goal.
How can you help?
- You can sponsor a dancer or a musician. A perfect show needs perfect setting and perfect combinations. To make this perfect combination produce the best effect, we need your help. - Please sponsor the travel expense of an artist. - Sponsor the rental expense of the theater for a particular duration of any event.
Sponsor Recognition Program
As a sponsor of the cultural program, we will recognize your contribution using the following rule:
1. Your name/company will be recognized twice during the particular event. 2. If you sponsor the production of the music for our inauguration and prime time events, the CDs will have your name as a sponsor. 3. We will also recognize you in the Annual Souvenir as well as the program booklet as a sponsor of the convention. 4. We will provide you extra copies of the souvenir using the prescribed rules of sponsorship (please check the rules):
We will allow the banners of Diamond, Ruby and Platinum Sponsors to be displayed during the convention events.
Whom to contact and what to do?
For sponsoring the cultural program, please contact: Rina Mahapatra.
You can sponsor the event through OSA or without OSA’s involvement. You can sponsor the trip of a particular artist by directly bearing the travel cost of the artist and just by informing us. You can sponsor the artist’s travel expense through OSA by writing a check to Orissa Society of the Americas 2007 Annual Convention and sending it to Rina Mahapatra
and putting the info “supporting cultural program – artist travel cost” etc. in memo. Please let the cultural coordinator, the convener and the treasurer know when you send a check for a particular cause to help the cultural program. Whether you help the program through OSA or without the involvement of OSA, we will recognize your generosity using the procedure described above. Thank you so much for your generosity.
